For this operation, our approach aimed to address the question of including contemporary architecture within an ensemble of town houses on elongated plots. The layout of the buildings is done naturally: it respects and aligns with the neighboring buildings.
The openings are designed to cause no inconvenience to those living opposite. The image of “the house” is used here astutely to truncate the perception of the general volume. The details are key to this project: roofs and sunshades are serving a “maximizing” minimalism.
